Life on the Frontier
Pioneer Day 2021 saw the historic Liberty Hill United Methodist Church chapel fully accessorized with a chuck wagon and horseback pastor for the event.
Separate displays from the Williamson County Museum displayed period weapons and tools that settlers would have used when the church was built.
Inside the chapel, Williamson County Museum and church members displayed artifacts from the era, along with documentation of life on the frontier and the establishment of the church.
Inside the church, Cross Tracks Pioneer Day also hosted artists recreating crafts of the time including lace and storytelling. There was also a silent auction benefiting the chapel restoration project.
