• What do you believe?

Cross Tracks is part of the United Methodist Church, the second-largest Protestant denomination in America. We share a common heritage with other Christians, holding to the core beliefs of the Christian faith. We also recognize that the world is not always black and white. We are willing to ask questions, work with difficult issues and do so with grace and compassion. We hold the Bible to be divinely written by people who heard God in the light of their own cultural and historical circumstances. As such, we make use of scholarship and study the scriptures carefully. When we encounter theological differences, we bear in mind John Wesley's approach, "in essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things, charity." We believe the goal of Christian life is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.

  • What can I expect at your services?

When you visit expect a warm greeting. Our goal is to make you feel like you have come home! Our worship services are easy to follow and the message is thoughtful, meaningful and relevant to our real lives. Cross Tracks services are typically composed of music worship (both contemporary and classical styles), a children's oriented sermon in addition to the pastor's weekly message. Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month and all are welcome to participate. Cross Tracks Church loves children! You are encouraged to bring your whole family, with no concerns about fidgeting or toddling about. There is a staffed children's area with activities for the kids, along with a cuddles room for caring for newborns.

  • What time is your Sunday worship service?

We currently have one worship service on Sunday. Our 10 a.m. service incorporates both contemporary and traditional music, we well as children's sermons. We think you'll find friendly people who are happy to welcome you during your visit.

  • What are your outreach programs and ministries?

There are ministries and ways to reach out to others. We encourage all members and attenders to get involved. Reaching a hand to others brings joy to your own journey and is an amazing way to share hope, purpose and meaning in the lives of others. Getting involved creates long-lasting personal connections and relationships that can last a lifetime. At Cross Tracks one can serve as a greeter, a Sunday school class leader, or assist in worship service. There are many opportunities to work with children through regular Christian education and vacation Bible school. Throughout the community there are opportunities to collect and distribute food and clothing, help with holiday food and toy drives, participate in the annual Make Church a Verb day providing home repair, yard work or prayer for those in need. There are mission trips and much more.
